Mira Klug (*1992) studied at the University of Applied Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography. Her artistic work deals with the forms and shapes of social phenomena, architecture and socio-political and socio-historical patterns. In the form of installations, video works, sculptures, photographic adaptations and film works, her work questions the rules of existing structures and explores how forms of renewal, counter-structures and embodiments transcend and break down these boundaries. Her work has been shown and exhibited at various institutions and festivals, including Neue Galerie Joanneum (AT), EMAF Osnabrück (DE), Antimatter (CA), FOTO Wien (AT), ZETA Contemporary ART Center Tirana (AL), Fotogalerie Wien (AT), Aesthetica SFF (UK), Diagonale (AT).  Lives and works in Vienna.
